Clap is a move in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Donkey Kong can perform this move if the player either claps near the DK Bongos or taps on the bongos. If there is an item nearby (ex. Banana) and Donkey Kong claps, he will reach for the item and grab it. An enemy might be defeated from Donkey Kong clapping. Clapping has many other uses in the game—for example, avoiding attacks during a boss battle. Several clap moves appear as Donkey Kong's smash attacks, most notably his forward smash and up smash, in the Super Smash Bros. series.
