The Chimp's Stomp Challenge is the second mission of the Fluffy Bluff Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission will become available after the player has collected at least 15 Power Stars and when the Mailtoad on Starship Mario gets a letter from The Chimp, who invites the player to a challenge.
Layout[edit]
When the player lands on the Cloud Across Valley Planet, they will be greeted by The Chimp and asked if they will take up his challenge of stomping enemies within a time limit of 120 seconds. The Chimp's high score is 10,000, so in order to win The Chimp's Power Star, they need to get a higher score. Each enemy and Coin they drop gives 100 points to the player, Star Bits give 10, and 1-Up Mushrooms, Life Mushrooms and ? Coins give 1000. Stomping multiple enemies in a row increases the number of points each consecutively stomped enemy gives by 100 up to a maximum of 300 per consecutively stomped enemy.
