Goomba Gold Rush is a Coin Chaos minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush. This minigame, alongside Tiles and Tribulations and Rolling Rumble are the only Coin Chaos minigames available after the Coinathlon mode is unlocked.

Gameplay[edit]

Players are situated on a platform with a cannon. They can move left and right for positioning and shoot cannonballs. On this field, Goombas, targets for the playes, wander in a single-file formation. Occasionally, a Bob-omb leads these Goombas. Destroying them defeats all Goombas following this Bob-omb while also destroying other Goombas nearby. In later levels, Red Coins, worth three, can be among the Goombas. Players earn coins by destroying these targets, which enable them to advance in the Coinathlon game mode.

Levels[edit]

  • Level 1: Only Goombas and Bob-ombs appear.
  • Level 2: Red Coins appear.
  • Level 3: There are more Red Coins, and the targets move faster.

Controls[edit]

  • Circle Pad: Move left/right
  • A Button: Fire a cannonball
