Little Eggs, Big Eggs is the first level of World 1 in Yoshi's New Island. It is similar to Make Eggs, Throw Eggs and Ba-dum BUM!, the first levels of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS respectively, in that it teaches the player how to make eggs from enemies and throw them, among other basic actions. This level's playable Yoshi is the green Yoshi.
Overview[edit]
Yoshi starts out on a field with pipes and enemies such as Shy Guys, Crazee Dayzees and Piranha Plants. At one point he reaches an area where he must throw an egg into a Winged Cloud to produce stairs that will help him overcome a ledge and reach a Checkpoint Ring. More enemies and pipes follow, after which Yoshi must use a Mega Eggdozer from a large Egg Block to break through some pipes and open up the path ahead to some Shy Guys and the Goal Ring.
Smiley Flowers[edit]
Smiley Flower 4: The fourth Smiley Flower is found in an area accessed via an upward pipe after the Checkpoint Ring and a Piranha Plant. Yoshi must break through Rock Blocks and hit the Winged Cloud on the right to obtain the Smiley Flower.
Smiley Flower 5: The fifth Smiley Flower is located under several semisolid platforms just after the area with multiple pipes that must be destroyed. To access the Smiley Flower, Yoshi must break through these platforms using a Mega Eggdozer.
