Flies appear in Donkey Kong 64 as enemies featured in the bonus stage, Big Bug Bash!, where the objective is for the player to swat as many flies within the time limit, and in a small silo within Creepy Castle. The silo has only a few flies that have to be defeated for a Golden Banana, though Tiny is the character who can encounter them, since entering the Mini-Monkey ability is needed to enter.
