The point of the game is to skewer all three bouncing steaks. To do so, the player must tap the screen, which shoves the stick to the right side, where the meats are. If the player takes more than one tap to skewer the meat, the phrase "Eat Up!" appears. However, if the player manages to skewer all three steaks in one go, the phrase "Skewer Skills" shows up instead. Occasionally, there is a piece of meat with a face that has a speech bubble saying "Yummers" (in the Japanese version, it is a konjac with a face saying "おいしいよ", which means "It's delicious"). This doesn't affect gameplay whatsoever. If the player manages to skewer all three steaks before time runs out, the game is won. However, if time runs out and the player has not skewered all three pieces, the game ends in a loss.

Gameplay[edit]

Japanese version of the True Skewer microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y.
The Japanese version of the microgame, which features konjac

The point of the game is to skewer all three bouncing steaks. To do so, the player must tap the screen, which shoves the stick to the right side, where the meats are. If the player takes more than one tap to skewer the meat, the phrase "Eat Up!" appears. However, if the player manages to skewer all three steaks in one go, the phrase "Skewer Skills" shows up instead. Occasionally, there is a piece of meat with a face that has a speech bubble saying "Yummers" (in the Japanese version, it is a konjac with a face saying "おいしいよ", which means "It's delicious"). This does not affect gameplay whatsoever. If the player manages to skewer all three steaks before time runs out, the game is won. However, if time runs out and the player has not skewered all three pieces, the game ends in a loss.
