Bob-omb Aplomb (known as Kick Kick Boom in the British English version) is a General minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. The British English name is a pun on the title of the song "Tick Tick Boom" by The Hives.

Introduction[edit]

A Bob-omb lands on a rock platform in the middle of the screen, then explodes, causing the rock platform to go along with it.

Gameplay[edit]

Players must move their characters to kick Bob-ombs off their rock platforms. They appear randomly from the sky and may be kicked into the lava or onto an opponent's platform. After being onscreen for too long, a Bob-omb will explode, destroying any rock platform that it sits on. When one player is left standing or the time runs out, the game ends, and the last character(s) standing is/are declared the winner(s).

Controls[edit]

  • Circle Pad – Move

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules (American English)"Run and kick the Bob-ombs onto your opponents' platforms before they explode."
