Mole-it! is a 2-vs.-2 minigame found in Mario Party 6. The name may be a pun on the phrase "Move it!" which is a rude way of asking someone to move.

Mole-it! also appears in the Miracle Book on the page "Poppin' Out of the Pipe." Toad is playing the nighttime version of the game. Activating the page replaces the Monty Moles and Piranha Plant with Wario and Waluigi, to Toad's surprise.

Introduction[edit]

During the day, several Monty Moles peek their heads out of all the pipes, then retreat. At night, two Monty Moles peek their heads out. The players attempt to ground-pound them but fail.

Gameplay[edit]

The minigame's objective is slightly different between day and night. In the daytime version, teams have to jump and use their heads to hit the Monty Moles from the pipes at the top side as they pop out to gain points. Piranha Plants also emerge from the pipes; hitting them stuns the player. There are also golden Monty Moles, which give players three points when hit. The team that has the higher score wins.

In the nighttime version, the pipes are on the ground, so players need to ground-pound to hit the Monty Moles.

Ending[edit]

During the day, Monty Moles emerge from the winners' pipes as they celebrate while Piranha Plants emerge from the losers' pipes as they do their losing animations. At night, the losers are surrounded on both sides by Piranha Plants while the winners have Monty Moles peeking out of the pipes between them. If the minigame ends in a tie, Monty Moles emerge from the pipes on both teams as they do their losing poses.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Jump
  • A Button A Button – Ground-pound (at night)

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules (Day)"Jump to smack the Monty Moles as they emerge from pipes overhead. The team with the most points wins!"
  • Rules (Night)"Ground-pound Monty Moles that peek out of pipes. The team with the most points wins!"
  • Advice"Monty Moles are worth one point. Golden Monty Moles are worth three points. Piranha Plants will temporarily stun you."
