In ''[[Super Mario 64]]'', Eyerok is the boss of [[Shifting Sand Land]] and resides in the central pyramid, where it guards one of the [[Power Star]]s. Its chamber is a platform with a pit on three sides, which is inside a large red brick block in the pyramid. It slams down its fists and tries to push the player off of the platform. When hit, the player will lose three bars in the power meter. The player must punch Eyerok's eyes (located in its palms) enough times to destroy each hand, at which point the stone monstrosity is defeated.

Eyerok moves around the arena, but he can take damage from [[Green Shell]]s. After the first and second hits each, Eyerok jumps around in the shape of fists briefly. He begins moving vertically more often after two hits. After three hits, Eyerok is defeated.


[[Yoshi]] can also get into Eyerok's chamber and battle Eyerok by first, while he is outside on [[Shifting Sand Land]], pick up Mario's cap so he can get the feather from the [[? Block|? block]] to fly to land on the four pillars to open the top of the pyramid to reveal the entrance. Then once inside, while he is still as Mario, he must punch the bricks open, take damage from an enemy to drop the Mario cap, and then try to make its way to the Eyerok's chamber while the elevator is still there. Eyerok, also known as the Hands[1] or Stone Hands,[2] is a boss introduced in Super Mario 64. He is a pair of two large stone hands with an eyeball on each palm, making him a golem-like entity. His name could be either a portmanteau of "eye" and "rock" or a pun on the phrase "I rock."

Eyerok is the boss of Shifting Sand Land. He resides in the center of the pyramid, inside a chamber. Eyerok attacks by either slamming his fists or trying to push Mario off the platform. Each fist acts separately. Only one exposes its eyeball at a time, making it vulnerable. A hit from Eyerok takes away three wedges of the Power Meter. Eyerok can be damaged from either punching, kicking, or diving into the eyeball on either palm. One of Eyerok's hands is destroyed after three hits, but destroying both is required for the Power Star of the mission Stand Tall on the Four Pillars.
