Coin Block Blitz is a 4-Player Coin-collecting minigame that is found in Mario Party. The minigame Coin Block Bash takes place in the same location.
Introduction[edit]
The minigame takes place in a corner of the rocky walls, with a floor of grass and fences that keep players from falling. The four players are standing near the corners of the playfield. Nine ? Blocks fall into their positions.
Gameplay[edit]
Players attempt to collect Coins by simply jumping into ? Blocks over the course of 60 seconds. Each block contains one to twelve Coins. When a ? Block disappears, it means it has been depleted. Players can also jump on other players to stun their figures and prevent them from jumping temporarily. The minigame ends when all blocks have been destroyed or when time is up. There is no winner or loser; instead, players are awarded half the number of Coins they received in the minigame, rounded down.
The minigame can be purchased from the Mini-Game House for 50 Coins when it is available for purchase.
On Mini-Game Island, the player must earn 10 Coins to clear the minigame. Winnings are not halved in this case, so the player does not need to find 20 Coins.
