A Shell Shock is an item in Super Paper Mario. It is designed after a Green Shell from Super Mario Bros. When the player kicks the shell, it ricochets away and rams into enemies, damaging them. But it will also hurt the player when it bounces back, just like an actual Koopa Shell. Using the item activates a minigame where the shell bounces around the screen, and the player must press

Shell Shocks appear in the following locations:
- Chapter 1-1, in 3D next to Bestovius.
- Sold by Howzit for 20 coins in Flipside or for 8 coins in Yold Town.
