Tightrope is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Gameplay[edit]

This microgame is based on the Tightrope Walk minigame from Wii Fit. In the game, a Mii is holding a pole and crossing a tightrope extending between the tops of two tall buildings. The purpose of the game is to prevent the Mii from falling off the tightrope as he crosses to the other side. When the game starts, the Mii leans to the left, as if he is about to fall. The player must tap the right side of the Wii Balance Board at the bottom right corner of the screen to balance the Mii out. The Mii then leans to the right, and the player must tap the left side of the Wii Balance Board to balance him. If the player taps the side that the Mii is already leaning toward (e.g. tapping the left side while the Mii is leaning to the left), or the player takes too long to tap, the Mii falls to his doom. If the player is able to successfully get the Mii across the tightrope and prevent him from falling, they win the game. If the Mii falls, however, they lose the game.
