The Barter Box is a special item in Mario Party 3. It is obtainable only from either Item Bag at an item shop, inside of a Hidden Block, or meeting Toad on an Item Space. The item exchanges all of the player's items with another player's, comparably to the Plunder Chest, though the Plunder Chest steals only one item.
The Barter Box received a functionally similar counterpart in Mario Party 4, the Swap Card, but it does not allow the player to choose their target.
