[[Mario]], [[Luigi]], [[Princess Peach|Peach]], or [[Yoshi]] must get to the goal line at the end within the time limit. There are obstacles such as converter belts and colored moving spike shells. If a player touches a spiked shell, the player is stunned for a moment. As time passes, the direction of the converter belt that the player is running on changes and/or increase or decrease speed. If the player does not reach the goal in time, they lose.

Dreadmill is a single-player minigame in Mario Party Advance.

Overview[edit]

The minigame opens with the player falling onto a treadmill, being hit by spikes, and then running forward.[1]

The player runs across conveyor belts, trying to make it to the end before time runs out; they have 60 and 40 seconds in Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack, respectively. The direction and speed of the conveyor belt changes over time. Touching a spike stuns the player briefly, and there are also red and yellow spikes, which move vertically and horizontally, respectively.

The minigame title combines the words "dread" and "treadmill."
