The Conservatory (Japanese: 音楽室 Music Room) is a room cleared in Area Two of Luigi's Mansion.

The Conservatory is a room in Area Two of Luigi's Mansion. It is a music room with an interactable saxophone, harp, upright bass, three kettle drums, a xylophone, and a grand piano. It can be unlocked with the key from the Butler's Room. Luigi has to interact with each instrument except the grand piano for an arrangement of Ground BGM to play. In doing so, Melody Pianissima appears at her piano, where she asks Luigi a trivia question, and when Luigi answers correctly, a battle against Melody begins. After Melody is captured, the lights turn on, and the Key to the Dining Room appears. A Speedy Spirit appears in the Conservatory during the blackout only, as well as three Gold Ghosts and a Purple Puncher.

After procuring the Key from Shivers in the Butler's Room, Luigi gains access to the Conservatory, where he finds many instruments. Sitting at the grand piano is The Beautiful Pianist, Melody Pianissima. However, she is invisible to Luigi. The plumber notices, however, that when he taps the instruments, they start playing a song. Melody is impressed with Luigi's "musical talent" and offers to let Luigi hear a song played on her piano. After she plays her song, she asks the green-garbed ghost hunter one of two questions. If Luigi answers the question correctly, Melody makes her sheet music fly at him. Luigi avoids the projectiles and goes straight for Melody herself. With the beauty safely stored inside the Poltergust 3000, the Conservatory brightens and Luigi receives the Key to the Dining Room, his next destination. There are many pictures of a ghost playing the saxophone on the walls. In the very northeast corner of the room, there is a small dresser with a flowerpot on top.
A saxophone and a French horn are on the wall in pre-release builds.
