Actually, the first Bowser's Castle to have water is in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. In that one, the water is just outside of the castle, but serves as a hazard. I'm not good at hearing similarities in music to another, so I was just wondering if the music for Bowser's Castle in Super Mario Kart is a remix of the final boss theme from Super Mario World? I mean, few people say that they sound very similar, along that one of them is literally a spinoff of the other, and many people call one a remix of the other, or that they're the same song.107.206.92.13 21:13, 15 November 2016 (EST)
:The music is not considered a remix as it's a completely new arrangement of the theme. It's probably most likely a cover version (we use rearrangement rather than cover version because of how unwieldy that term is). 21:36, 15 November 2016 (EST)

::No, they're not the same song. You're misusing the term "remix" when the term you're thinking of is actually a new arrangement of the music. :::This doesn't need to be dragged on for two more weeks. The situation matches that of Sherbet Land exactly which received a great amount of support for deletion. I'd be willing to go ahead and delete the page if no one objects. 07:34, May 10, 2019 (EDT)

I was curious about the Thwomp locked behind bars near the beginning in the green light. Whats is with this? This seems strange, could it be that he has done something wrong? Learner 17:52, 13 March 2008 (EDT)
It is possibly a stage prop or hazard (although it is trapped in the bars). It may also be there to distract human racers. Mariofan459
The caged Thwomp has no significance to the course. Speculation is pointless.--Knife (talk) 16:15, 25 September 2009 (EDT)
It has no effect on the course, its probably just there to distract you.Possibly, if they bring it back in the next one(MarioKart3DS-Cant wait!), it might serve a purpose.-Smileymiley5001

- No, I don't think we should add it. You can add it in Mario Kart Wii/Glitches, though. Ray Trace(T|C)
