Ok, I created your page for you.

Regarding moving your wiki, you'll simply need to set up mediawiki on an independent site. It seems from the post you linked that Porplemontage is willing to set this up for you, so you'll want to coordinate that with him. After the site is up and running, you can download Mediawiki from this site and set it up on your new website.

I believe you can download your wiki's database from the statistics page. There is a tool in mediawiki that will allow this database dump to be imported into the new wiki in a relatively painless way. I am not sure exactly what will be required to set up Monaco (the current wikia skin) on an independent wiki. The default is Monobook, like we have here.
