- “Wario takes to the air with his Jet Hat for extra speed and jumping ability. High-flying Wario can smash airborne blocks.”
- —Jet Wario description, Nintendo Character Guide
Jet Wario[1] is a transformation of Wario in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. Using a Jet Pot, Wario gets a Jet Hat[2] with duck-like wings on the top, a visor resembling a duck's beak, and jet propulsors on the back. To use the power, Wario starts out by doing a normal Body Slam and flies in a straight line from the point where he initially starts his attack. After a few seconds, Wario will start to descend and glide. Wario will stop flying or gliding when he hits any object or enemy. When he is Jet Wario, he still has the same strength as normal Wario, as blocks still take two hits to destroy. Jet Wario also walks more quickly and jumps higher with this item.
Wario can get a similar power in Virtual Boy Wario Land called Eagle Wario. Eagle Wario works the same as Jet Wario, which also includes a speed boost when walking and jumping.
In Mario Golf: Super Rush, Wario's Jet-Pack Dash bears similarities to Jet Wario.
