:I feel that recreational events as well as political events need to be noted, but if you'd rather move them to a "Recreation and Entertainment" section, that was something I was planning on doing. You could then merge them all into one Mario Kart section, mentioning the tourneys' place in reference to other events. That would get around the sticky situation of what to call the tournaments, as well. You and me have been following the same pages lately, huh, Cobold? ==Should we get rid of the "Cities, Towns and Castles" section?== | |||
As I have been editing I have noticed a major flaw with the "Cities, Towns and Castles" section. The section is very limited to only a few mario series titles. Paper Mario being a big one taking over most of the locations. Since there are SO many locations in the Mushroom Kingdom in so many different Mario series titles, maybe it would be right to to delete the section. We are majorly lacking from other Mario series titles such as Mario Party, the main series, the Mario kart series, etc. Thenintendostooge | |||

* The Mushroom Kingdom is part of the greater Mushroom World, which is on Earth | |||
* Peach's Castle is referred to as "Mushroom Castle" in Super Mario RPG, Mario 64, Paper Mario, M&L2 and NSMB | |||

* Shroom City and Mushroom City are the same place | |||
* Yoster Island (the incarnation of Yoshi's Island appearing in SMW and M&L2, which is distinct from the Yoshi Island seen in the Yoshi series) is part of the Mushroom Kingdom | |||
* Rogueport is also part of the Mushroom Kingdom | |||
* All places with Karakara Sabaku as their name are the same location, which is this but also this and this (and common sense would also tell us it's also this) | |||
* Stardust Fields and Star Hill (the one seen in M&L2, distinct from the one in Mario RPG and PM64) are around the same area | |||

==Super Mario RPG location(s)== | |||
Mushroom Kingdom's depiction has a few oddities in Super Mario RPG. First off, in the game itself, the town area is just referred to as "Mushroom Kingdom"; however, according to the Player's Guide, "Mushroom Kingdom" refers to both the town and World 1, meaning it comprises of Mario's Pad (as in later games), Mushroom Way, Mushroom Kingdom, and Bandit's Way. Looking at Japanese materials, it seems the kingdom is probably intended to be the latter; the immediate "Mushroom Kingdom" area is labeled 「キノコ城」 (Kinoko Jō, Mushroom Castle) instead, which is the name of Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario. There is one exception where the castle area is referred to by another name: in one of Dr. Topper's questions, instead of asking "The boy at the inn in Mushroom Kingdom was playing with...What?", he asks 「きのこ城下町宿屋の息子のもっている ゲームのきしゅは?」 - note the phrase 「きのこ城下町」 (Kinoko Jōkamachi, Mushroom Castle Town). Judging by this information, it looks like Ted Woolsey inadvertently merged together multiple subjects into "Mushroom Kingdom": the first world, the Toad town, and Peach's castle. I think the information should be reorganized as follows: the kingdom itself should mainly refer to the first world in general, the castle is an early rendition of Peach's Castle, and the town can either split into its own article or maybe merge with Toad Town (as it's clearly its direct predecessor). LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:48, April 19, 2020 (EDT) | |||
:I'd say the latter solution. I don't like how we currently only consider the SM64-onward design to be "Peach's Castle." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:16, April 19, 2020 (EDT) | |||
::Agreed, though maybe deciding if even older incarnations in other media like Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyushutsu Dai Sakusen! or Super Mario Adventures should count is better off as a separate discussion. Another thing I want to add is that the "Mushroom Castle" was in use for the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Player's Guide, at least on page 118: "Hop on Toad’s head when you enter the Mushroom Castle the first time. As Toad approaches the door to the throne room, jump to reveal a platform. From this platform you can reach the Treasure Box." That makes it easier to refer to the castle within the context of Super Mario RPG. And before anyone mentions that Super Smash Bros. Melee only lists Super Mario 64 as an appearance, I should point out that the Japanese text instead uses what is deemed to be notable appearances instead of trying to strictly use the first appearance (for example, Luigi is listed as from Super Mario Bros. 2 (FCD) and Luigi Mansion (GC) instead of Mario Bros. Arcade), which is why the English text had some errors attempting to force debuts and later games went with the looser Japanese approach. :::I'd be fine with adding more inclusions of Peach's Castle, I didn't even realize we had earlier iterations missing in the first place. It seems weird to split them up just because Super Mario 64 gave it a design that it stuck with for the most part, and inconsistent with the handling of Bowser's Castle which goes back to SMB in our coverage. -- 15:34, April 19, 2020 (EDT) | |||
::::Pretty sure we're basing the article off of the look that has since been established in Super Mario 64. That seems pretty arbitrary, so I'm for grouping the castles better. 15:58, April 19, 2020 (EDT) | |||
:::::I support adding more inclusions of Peach’s Castle, as it is currently inconsistent with how Bowser’s Castle is handled, and it seems strange to not include it just because it doesn’t have the appearance established in Super Mario 64. -- 16:26, April 19, 2020 (EDT) | |||
::::::All right, so the consensus is that the first world is the broader kingdom, the "Mushroom Kingdom" town is a prototypical Toad Town and gets covered in that article, and the Mushroom Castle is Peach's Castle, which will be expanded to include earlier iterations. "WAAAAY too brief and listy for what it's meant to cover. Take the "appearance" list at the bottom, divide the "Overview" section up based on it, convert the "Overview" section to a "History" section and elaborate on each appearance more. We can't have one to two sentences of information for each appearance. The "Government" and "Demographics" need elaboration; there's been dozens of iterations of the Mushroom Kingdom, try to make general statements about trends seen in them and elaborate on any specific characters and "government" aspects. The "Currency" aspect should either be tidied up or removed, given that coins appear in almost every location and game with the same role, regardless of wether or not they are found in the Mushroom Kingdom. The "Cities, towns, and castles" section is too vague and unelaborative; how do we know which locations ARE in the Mushroom Kingdom? Explicitly? Implicitly? By default unless stated otherwise? Fix it up, maybe split it up by game, or incorporate into the "Overview" section completely. And do something about the trivia; it's much too minor and seemingly arbitrary to distinguish for this article, incorporate it to the "Overview"/"History" somehow." | |||

Should Rogueport and the surrounding areas be added here, or is it still a bit unclear of their true location? (Peach's E-mail seems to confirm that is indeed in the Mushroom Kingdom, but even then it would be on the very outskirts considering Luigi's adventures in the Waffle Kingdom and him being at Rogueport between each adventure) --Sml007.5 18:50, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
- ...It's still a bit unclear. Don't add them to the list yet. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 20:47, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
- Hello. For the Mushroom World article, they are considered part of the Mushroom Kingdom. Because it seems to be made clear from the evidence presented above. So... there's a little inconsistancy... perhaps you could deal with it, Wayoshi? Thanks. -Stumpers
Bowser, Wario and Waluigi[edit]
Would they be considered citizens? WarioLoaf (talk)
First lets reconsider what citizen means. A innocent person who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom or a defender of the Mushroom Kingdom. Since Mario is considered both I'm not really sure.
I wouldn't consider any of them citizens though because they are all enemies of the Mushroom Kingdom. They are rebels of the Mushroom Kingdom.Knife (talk)
Actually Wario isn't really that bad. he was at peach's castle in SM64 DS. He helped take down Bowser. WarioLoaf (talk)
Well his bad outweighs his good and because he was recently a boss in DDR, I think that make him bad. Plus he started out bad. Maybe he isn't evil, but his greed drives him to do evil tasks. Either way, I don't think him or the protectors of the Mushroom Kingdom should be considered citizens.Knife (talk)
They've broken most of the rules of citizendom. Tsk tsk. Although they have been on the side of good a few times, their bad does outweight the good, as Knife said. 3D
- Athough not cannon, I always thought when i was growing up Wario was king of the Bob-omb kingdom and Daisy was his princess (Yellow and Yellow). Stupid, a? WarioLoaf (talk)
Probably not but really, I wonder. Do Wario and Princess Daisy have any connections or relationship? And I wouldn't say it in front of Luigi. He might, uhh cry and don't do anything.Knife (talk)
Wario seems to be in love with Mona and Money. It has been said in hints in the WarioWare games. Wario lives in Kitchen Land while Daisy lives in Sarasaland. Paper Jorge (Talk·Contribs)
Wario supposedly lives in Diamond City. And most people think that's in the Mushroom Kingdom, not kitchen land. I'm not saying it ISN'T in kitchen land, I mean, it could be. User: Maxlover2
Just to put my two cents in, I think that if Wario ever tried to make advances at Daisy, it would probably be to hurt Luigi. I believe Wario once said (on his website, maybe) that he didn't have time for a love interest. I think that was the original WarioWare site, with the interview with Wario... anyone else remember that? Stumpers
Lets all remember that wario is a member of DIAMOND city, wich seems to have no relation to the mushroom kingdom. (no mushrooms or nothing.) Isyou 16:50, 10 February 2007 (EST)

Toybox Town?[edit]
Should Shy Guy's toybox REALLY count as a town? I mean, there's no people actually living there, as far as we know. and really, it's just a toybox.
There are a couple of us who have been independently planning to overhaul the article, so lots will change, hopefully... in the near future, and hopefully for the better. If I were you, I'll put the Toy Box as a subset of Toad Town. I think some Shy Guys might actually live there, though. If nothing else, it's a hideout. But, no it does not fit the definition of a town. Good catch. -Stumpers
There ARE some Toads there.- Ultimatetoad 17:17, 26 February 2007 (EST)
They work the trains. that's it. like I said, we don't KNOW they live in the toybox because there are no houses, that we can see. Therefor, it can only be a town non-canonnically Max2
Meh, it's only a bullet point as it is, so does it really matter? Maybe someone should write something more about it? Well, if you don't, I probably will, so whatevs :3 --Stumpers
Video Games, Film, Etc. Section[edit]
Hello, everyone. I'm currently working on the "Recent History" section that talks about the attacks and events shown in the video games in regards to the Mushroom Kingdom. So, should I just delete the video game portion of this article (at the bottom) when I'm done? Thanks. --Stumpers
- I removed the video game info, and changed the section to "Depictions in Other Media". Also, I changed "Recent History" to "History", and moved it up to the top, as has been done with characters (Yoshi) and species (Goomba). -- Son of Suns
- Thanks. I'll be working more on the History section soon, I hope. As for the rearrangement of the article, it could work either way. Taking a look at the Wikipedia articles for France and the United States, both ways are correct. After we finish our work on this article we should look into this again and see which one is more pleasing to look at. Whoever did it, nice work on the Super Mario Bros. portion of the history! -Stumpers
Luigi Sunshine?[edit]
Is the "currency" part really accurate? I mean red, blue and green Diamonds only appear in Luigi's Mansion, yet they have coin values. is that really canon? and also, who KNOWS that you "must first sell this object"? Max2 Canon?
- Feel free to change it. Here's my logic: Diamonds are worth a certain "gold value." A coin, according to Luigi's Mansion, is worth 5,000G. Wouldn't other items worth the same way? Oh, and the "must first sell this object" comes from the fact that there is currently no store throughout Mario history that has officially accepted anything except Coins. However, as seen in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Gold Bars can be used, but only after you sell them. They act as a sort of bank, as you know. --Stumpers (P.S. Where does Luigi Sunshine come in?)
- oh. OK.
- OK
- It's a mix of Luigi's Mansion (w/ G) and Super Mario Sunshine (W/ coins)
- Max2
Ok. Just for reference,Super Mario Sunshine took place outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, so there could be different "coins," but we don't know either way :D --Stumpers
Still, there are coins, and the same "50 coins=1up" as Super Mario 64, which OBVIOUSLY is in the Mushroom Kingdom. Max2
Meh. Whatevs :3 Everybody wins. --Stumpers

So... I don't know if you guys knew it, but the Gold System isn't part of this Wiki! (or I haven't found it yet) If someone ever wanted to make an article, below is the information that once was in this article. By the way, for those interested, the Coin conversions come from the fact that a Gold Coin in Luigi's Mansion was 5,000 Gold... and of course in the Mushroom Kingdom, one Gold Coin equals one coin. Oh, and for future reference, can we please discuss the removal of information before removing it from the Wiki? That would probably help.--Stumpers
Object | Worth in Gold (G) | Worth in Coins |
---|---|---|
Gold Coin | 5,000G | 1 Coin |
Red Diamond | 5,000G | 1 Coin |
Bill | 20,000G | 4 Coins |
Small Pearl | 50,000G | 10 Coins |
Gold Bar | 100,000G | 20 Coins |
Medium Pearl | 100,000G | 20 Coins |
Blue Jewel | 500,000G | 100 Coins |
Green Jewel | 800,000G | 160 Coins |
Red Jewel | 1,000,000G | 200 Coins |
Large Pearl | 1,000,000G | 200 Coins |
Blue Diamond | 2,000,000G | 400 Coins |
Gold Diamond | 20,000,000G | 4,000 Coins |
- The Gold System is only in one game, but an article for Gold with a G redirect could be created, stating the value of each object in Luigi's Mansion. The values do not apply to all the Mushroom Kingdom - this as not been confirmed. Also, Coins are typically just called Coins in the other games, not Gold Coins like in Luigi's Mansion, so we don't know if they are the same. Regardless, we don't know if coins from other games are the same value as LM's Gold Coins. I removed the information because it is false. We shouldn't have false info on the wiki. -- Son of Suns
- I see your logic. Just be sure to do that in conjunction with your edits please? It would help. Because we're dealing with a video game series here, we're going to be faced with how much speculation is too much. This was gray area that required discussion, and now that we've had it, we can agree that it's not "canon enough" for the Wiki, but I still wouldn't call it false. --Stumpers
Mushroom Castle[edit]
In the new trailertrailer for Super Paper Mario, Toad informs Mario and Luigi that "Mushroom Castle" has been raided, not Princess Peach's Castle. What do you guys think this means? --Stumpers
- Mushroom Castle is an alternative name for Princess Peach's Castle. The name was used in the Super Mario 64 instruction manual. -- Son of Suns
Whoa... THAT is dedication to the Mario series. I'll be sure to put that in the article if I get the opportunity... or you could. Either way, really. Thanks! --Stumpers
Transportation[edit]
I knew I was forgetting something... we need to talk about their transportation in the kingdom. Stumpers! 01:16, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
Spin-off Titles[edit]
Should events like Super Mario Kart and other spin-off sports games really be listed in the history of the Mushroom Kingdom? I don't think they are notable. All I see in these sections is "Later tournaments proved immensely popular." - point of view phrases. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:06, 25 January 2008 (EST)
- I feel that recreational events as well as political events need to be noted, but if you'd rather move them to a "Recreation and Entertainment" section, that was something I was planning on doing. You could then merge them all into one Mario Kart section, mentioning the tourneys' place in reference to other events. That would get around the sticky situation of what to call the tournaments, as well. You and me have been following the same pages lately, huh, Cobold? Good to see you again. Stumpers! 20:03, 25 January 2008 (EST)
- Yes.YL
Mushroom City[edit]
Mushroom City is probably the most modernized and advanced city in the Mushroom Kingdom, if not the Mushroom World. My question is, how come a little old town like Toad Town is the capital, but a humongous urbanized city like Mushroom City isn't? Kobble 02:05, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
It's obviously because Peach's castle is in Toad Town. MarioFan9999 13:03, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
- We technically don't know that Mushroom City is in the Mushroom Kingdom, but to say it isn't is more speculative than saying it is, if you get my meaning. A capital is the city/town from which a central political body operates. The central political body is the monarchy run by Peach, and she operates from the castle, which is part of Toad Town. Stumpers! 14:23, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
Mushroom kingdom/ Beanbean border[edit]
on the article for the beanbean kningdom, it says it shares its north western border with the mushroom kingdom, but on the mushroom kingdom article it says it shares it southwestern border, witch is correct? one of the articles need to be changed.--Sonicobbsessed 19:06, 4 June 2008 (EDT)
- From the Beanbean Kingdom, the Mushroom Kingdom is to the north. From the Mushroom Kingdom, the Beanbean Kingdom is to the south. However, it is impossible for both to have a western border with the other: one would have western, the other eastern. Stumpers! 23:30, 4 June 2008 (EDT)
- Well, since in RPGs the west is usually to the left the south is heading towards the screen, etc., I'd say the the Beanbean Kingdom shares its north eastern border with the Mushroom Kingdom. Cobalt David (talk) 13:05, February 17, 2021 (EST)
Islands[edit]
Is Yoshi's island and/or Delfino Isle part of the Mushroom Kingdom? MarioFan9999 21:11, 14 July 2008 (EDT)
- Delfino is not. Miyamoto concerred in his Nintendo.com interview for Super Mario Sunshine. Yoshi's Island is part of Dinosaur World. No source has yet officially confirmed nor denied the Mushroom Kingdom having control over that area. Stumpers! 02:54, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
I was just wondering because of the island in the main picture. MarioFan9999 13:00, 20 July 2008 (EDT)
- That's Lavalava Island from Paper Mario. It's one of the three islands where Yoshies live along with the two islands you mentioned above. Stumpers! 15:00, 24 July 2008 (EDT)
Needs a major rewrite[edit]
Right now each section is just a short summary of its game. I really don't think that's what this article should be. This article should be describing the MK itself as an entity. E.g. what environments and cities appeared, what changed from previous games if the game is a sequel, etc. Obviously, this will mean a major overhaul of the page and I wanted to get some people to weigh in on this matter. SMRPG[edit]
Why does the SMRPG is in Mario kart series???????????????????????? I found a Boshi's race, but that's all. SWFlash
- It's not. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- It is.SWFlash
Flag[edit]
Do we know what the MK's flag looks like? That would be a good image to add to the article if we can agree on what it is and find a good picture. SMB has the square red-star flag. M&L:SS's Little Fungitown Embassy has a white pennant with a stylized green mushroom near the hoist that looks more like SMB's Koopa flag. M&L:PiT's opening (set in the past) shows a yellow pennant with a more detailed brown mushroom near the hoist. What other flags are there, and which one is the best representation of the current flag? Sarisa 10:37, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
I'd say whichever one is the most recent appearance.--Knife (talk) 19:35, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- It'd be this one then:
Although it changed its design several times, it's still shown a bit everywhere inside Peach's Castle in the Mario & Luigi series (that one is from the third game). I doubt the flags on top of Peach's Castle are the country's, as they look completely different in each game, and that includes the Mario & Luigi series. We don't know the flag's shape though... Koopalmier 20:04, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
i got idea 4 u. u just use that one. CatJedi's been here...... homemade cream puffs
In Super Mario Galaxy there was a flag at the ending on top of the castle. It looks like it could be the flag for all of the country, but the problem is, that is only on top of the castle and nowhere else (for what I know). JDFRG 16.02, 28 March 2020
Expand Cities, Towns, and Castles section to include all locations[edit]
This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit any of the sections in the proposal. If you wish to discuss the article, do so in a new header below the proposal. |
no quorum 2-0
Since other kingdoms like the Beanbean Kingdom have a complete list of locations, I think the Mushroom Kingdom should have a complete list of locations, instead
of just main cities and towns. Locations like the Twilight Trail, Cavi Cape, and Star Hill are missing.

Weird stuff in the Mario Kart section[edit]
- "The tournament doubled as an act of diplomacy as Bowser was allowed to race"
- "Following the Toadstool Tour and the events on Isle Delfino"
- "Some time after Bowser's invasion of the galaxies in Super Mario Galaxy"
- "Races took place in... newly discovered regions of it"
- "The Mushroom kingdom also allowed other human residents from the area to participate"
This stuff all seems like speculation to me. Yoshiwaker And there's more, too...
- While it may have made the article a little easier to read in terms of how it flows as a narrative, this is an encyclopedia, so that's all speculation, and I support getting rid of it. Off with its head and all that. Bop1996 (Talk)
- Looks to me like the whole section needs to be rewritten. I don't understand the point of portraying each game as part of a narrative, since the MK games take elements from the main series but are not intertwined with it. None of the spin-offs are (excluding Luigi's reference in Paper Mario). Mario4Ever (talk)
just get rid of the nonsense already CatJedi's been here...... nanananananananana batman!
Should we get rid of the "Cities, Towns and Castles" section?[edit]
As I have been editing I have noticed a major flaw with the "Cities, Towns and Castles" section. The section is very limited to only a few mario series titles. Paper Mario being a big one taking over most of the locations. Since there are SO many locations in the Mushroom Kingdom in so many different Mario series titles, maybe it would be right to to delete the section. We are majorly lacking from other Mario series titles such as Mario Party, the main series, the Mario kart series, etc. Thenintendostooge (talk)
Information on the Mushroom Kingdom in the Japanese releases of the games, from Japanese Wikipedia article[edit]
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AD%E3%83%8E%E3%82%B3%E7%8E%8B%E5%9B%BD
The Japanese article for Mushroom Kingdom makes the following claims:
- The Mushroom Kingdom is part of the greater Mushroom World, which is on Earth
- Peach's Castle is referred to as "Mushroom Castle" in Super Mario RPG, Mario 64, Paper Mario, M&L2 and NSMB
- Peach's Castle is referred to as "Peach Castle" in Mario Tennis 64, Mario Party 4, M&L3, Mario Sports Mix, Mario Golf: World Tour, NSMB2, NSMBU and Super Mario 3D World
- Shroom City and Mushroom City are the same place
- Yoster Island (the incarnation of Yoshi's Island appearing in SMW and M&L2, which is distinct from the Yoshi Island seen in the Yoshi series) is part of the Mushroom Kingdom
- Rogueport is also part of the Mushroom Kingdom
- All places with Karakara Sabaku as their name are the same location, which is this but also this and this (and common sense would also tell us it's also this)
- Stardust Fields and Star Hill (the one seen in M&L2, distinct from the one in Mario RPG and PM64) are around the same area
It's not much help since none of these claims are sourced, but it would be good to look into some of those. Koopalmier (talk) 14:32, 23 August 2016 (EDT)
- While this looks a nice deal of info, I don't think this wiki accepts Wikipedia itself as a legit source. For example, Fuzzy Wiggler is named Kemuchan in Japan but this was removed for a time because, to quote the comment for removal, "From the JP Wikipedia and thus unofficial". Music (Super Mario RPG)[edit]
Was part of the music that plays in Mushroom Kingdom from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars used in the music for World-e Castle in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, or is it just coincidental that the music for World-e Castle sounds very similar to Mushroom Kingdom's music? 107.206.92.13 09:50, 16 November 2016 (EST)

Largest kingdom in the world? Not anymore![edit]
This article sais that the Mushroom Kingdom is one of the largest in the world. But with Odyssey coming out, and this Kingdom actually being one of the smallest Kingdoms in that game, should we change this part at the beginning of the article?
SMO Mushroom Kingdom map[edit]
Well, I say "map" but really all it shows is a mushroom-shaped island with no distinct or visible features, and I highly doubt that'd be fitting as the main image for the article. I'm bringing this up here because I'd rather not clog up Recent Changes. -- Lord G. matters. 17:02, July 21, 2019 (EDT)
Super Mario RPG location(s)[edit]
LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:48, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- I'd say the latter solution. I don't like how we currently only consider the SM64-onward design to be "Peach's Castle." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:16, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- Agreed, though maybe deciding if even older incarnations in other media like Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyushutsu Dai Sakusen! or Super Mario Adventures should count is better off as a separate discussion. LinkTheLefty (talk) 15:20, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- I'd be fine with adding more inclusions of Peach's Castle, I didn't even realize we had earlier iterations missing in the first place. It seems weird to split them up just because Super Mario 64 gave it a design that it stuck with for the most part, and inconsistent with the handling of Bowser's Castle which goes back to SMB in our coverage. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 15:34, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- Pretty sure we're basing the article off of the look that has since been established in Super Mario 64. That seems pretty arbitrary, so I'm for grouping the castles better. 15:58, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- I support adding more inclusions of Peach’s Castle, as it is currently inconsistent with how Bowser’s Castle is handled, and it seems strange to not include it just because it doesn’t have the appearance established in Super Mario 64. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:26, April 19, 2020 (EDT)
- All right, so the consensus is that the first world is the broader kingdom, the "Mushroom Kingdom" town is a prototypical Toad Town and gets covered in that article, and the Mushroom Castle is Peach's Castle, which will be expanded to include earlier iterations. Is that correct? LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:39, April 19, 2020 (EDT)

General Improvement Needed[edit]
Moved this from the template since it was too long. See comment by S o m e t h i n g o n e ! :
And do something about the trivia; it's much too minor and seemingly arbitrary to distinguish for this article, incorporate it to the "Overview"/"History" somehow."
