Captain Syrup enters the fight in an aircraft that looks like a flying tea cup. The pirate leader is protected by a glass dome so jumping on her does not work. The player has to have Wario shatter the dome first by using Wario's ramming attack. After three hits the dome breaks and exposes the enemy's weakness. Syrup will now hover out of Wario's reach and summon bombs that try to push Wario off the battlefield. Wario has to jump on these bombs, pick them up and throw them at Syrup. The bombs will change their move patterns after each hit so the player needs to be watchful. After three direct hits the tea cup breaks and Syrup is defeated. Awaiting Syrup! is the fifth and final story of an additional chapter five in the game Wario Land II. It takes place in the factory of stage 4-4 and thus is a factory-themed level.
Wario has to overcome another level filled with mechanical traps in order to get to Syrup and reclaim his treasure.
