In the minigame, Totem Pole Pound, characters must perform hip drops on the colored Totem Bros., forcing them into the ground. The first player to completely force the Totem Bro. into the ground wins. The higher the hip drop, the more the Totem Bro. gets pounded into the ground. Totem Bros. vary in color and have two circular eyes with a mouth, similar in appearance to Grindels.
