Overview[edit]

Based on Whack-a-Mole, the minigame features the player stomping the Piranha Plants appearing from the pipes.[1] The player earns one Coin from each stomp. One Piranha Plant pops out at first, added by one more when they next emerge, for up to eight in total. The player can get up to 36 Coins; collecting every Coin causes the "new record/perfect" theme to play. The minigame ends in a "Miss!" if the player does not get any Coins, and they do not lose five afterward, unlike many other 1-Player minigames.

It costs 200 Coins to buy the minigame at the Mini-Game House.
