The '''2-Star Hex''' is a type of [[Hex]] in ''[[Mario Party DS]]''. The player possessing it can choose to place it on any [[Blue Space]] or [[Red Space]] within five spaces from their current location. When a player lands on it, [[Star (Mario Party series)|star]]s are distributed and the hex is destroyed. If an opponent lands on it, 2 stars will be taken from them and given to the player who placed the hex. If the player doesn't have any stars, the hex won't have any special effect; it will just be destroyed. If the player/team who threw it lands on it, he or she will receive 5 coins. This hex can be received in the [[Hex Area]] or by stealing it with a [[Snag Bag]].

The 2-Star Hex

The 2-Star Hex is a type of Hex in Mario Party DS. It can be obtained from the Hex Area, like other Hexes, and be placed on any Blue Space or Red Space up to five spaces away. If an opponent lands on a 2-Star Hex, it folds together on them, stealing two stars and giving it to the player who placed it or their team. The 2-Star Hex has no effect if the opponent has no stars, and disappears after being landed on regardless. If the user lands on a 2-Star Hex, they obtain five coins.
