Rainbow Run is a 1-vs-3 minigame in Mario Party 2.

Rainbow Run is an unlockable 1-vs-3 minigame found in Mario Party 2. To get this minigame, the player must buy 50 minigames from Woody. Although it has a different setting, this minigame is identical in concept to Tightrope Treachery from the first Mario Party. Unlike in Tightrope Treachery, team players' clouds automatically move instead of having players control them.

The minigame plays like Tightrope Treachery from Mario Party. The solo player tries to reach the goal, crossing a narrow rainbow, while the team players shoot cannonballs at them. If the solo player reaches the end, they win, but if either the team manages to knock off the solo player or the solo player does not reach the goal in time, the team wins.

Rainbow Run has to first be unlocked by buying 50 minigames from Woody. As such, it and fellow unlockable minigame Dungeon Dash do not appear on the Mini-Game Coaster.
The solo player on the narrow rainbow must get to the goal line, while three players on the clouds attempt to knock the rainbow runner off with cannonballs. If the solo player gets to the goal, that player wins, but if either the team of three knocks the rainbow runner down or time runs out, the team wins.

This minigame does not appear in the Mini-Game Coaster, along with Dungeon Dash.

Rainbow Run is a 1-vs-3 minigame in Mario Party 2.

Overview[edit]

The minigame plays like Tightrope Treachery from Mario Party. The solo player tries to reach the goal, crossing a narrow rainbow, while the team players shoot cannonballs at them. If the solo player reaches the end, they win, but if either the team manages to knock off the solo player or the solo player does not reach the goal in time, the team wins.

Rainbow Run has to first be unlocked by buying 50 minigames from Woody. As such, it and fellow unlockable minigame Dungeon Dash do not appear on the Mini-Game Coaster.
