Toad in the Box (stylized as TOAD in the Box) is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 2.
Overview
The minigame opens with the players first falling into the scene, then the blocks.
During gameplay, players compete to get a Toad figure on a spinning block five times; each time, this extends their platform by one level though also causes the block to move faster. Getting either a Piranha Plant, a Chain Chomp, or a Baby Bowser figure stuns the player temporarily. The first player to fulfill the objective wins, though if nobody does after some time, the result is a draw.
The minigame title is a play on jack-in-the-box.
It costs 150 Coins to buy the minigame from Woody.
