Sproings in the Twilight Forest is a course in Pipe-Rock Plateau of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It features the first appearance of Sproings and is unlocked after finding the hidden exit of Bulrush Express. Its own completion unlocks the level Cosmic Hoppos. The level takes place at twilight and depicts the characters, enemies, and foreground as silhouettes, bearing a strong resemblance to Sunset Shore from Donkey Kong Country Returns. This course features two Wonder Seeds.

Layout

The level takes place in a forest with many trees during a sunset. Almost all elements of the level, including the player characters, are seen as black silhouettes over the amber background. The silhouetted foreground can make enemies and objects harder to see. The level features several semisolid tree platforms, Hip Trees, and bouncy Mushroom Trampolines. The trees in the background of the course resemble giant baobabs.

The Wonder Flower can be found after the Checkpoint Flag, carried by a Sproing. Defeating the enemy and grabbing the flower activates this level's Wonder Effect. In it, the player gets elongated like a Sproing, but can crouch to shrink and go through narrow passages. Crouching also make flower coin bits appear. The trees in the background and Goombas get elongated as well, and the screen gets a blue shade. The Wonder Seed is hidden between two trees near the end of the level, and the player needs to crouch to make it appear.

Hidden Character Blocks

10-flower coins

Image Location
The first 10-flower coin in Sproings in the Twilight Forest in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found to the right of a column of Brick Blocks. The player can reach the 10-flower coin by breaking some of the Brick Blocks, for example by using a Koopa shell.
The second 10-flower coin in Sproings in the Twilight Forest in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found near the top of the screen, on a flying platform that is in front of a tree. The tree's trunk hides a hole in the platform, in which the player can climb through with wall jumps.
The third 10-flower coin in Sproings in the Twilight Forest in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Found near the bottom of the screen, under a row of coin blocks to the left of some mushroom platforms. To reach the 10-flower coin, the player needs to go under the row of coin blocks from the left, which requires crouching if the Wonder Effect is active.
