The State Prison is a location appearing in the Saturday Supercade episode "The Great Ape Escape."
Two prisoners, under the alias of Doug's Health Club, attempted to escape the prison during an American football game with the help of Donkey Kong. They briefly managed to escape by using a goal post as a catapult and hid on the top floor of a building, but were eventually caught via a spotlight. Their escape was ultimately foiled by the Kong after Pauline told him that they were criminals, not health instructors. Angry of having been lied to, he chased them to a ladder, then grabbed and bent it into a cage. He then dropped it into a prison van, the van most likely having returned them to the prison.
