There are sparkles inside of Spooky's doghouse. If Luigi investigates them with his [[Game Boy Horror]], it summons a small gust of wind, which, if Luigi walks toward, sucks him into the [[Graveyard]].

The Boneyard also has a patch of dirt with a large bean in it. If Luigi waters it, the bean sprouts into a small plant. After Luigi captures [[Bogmire]], the bean grows and produces a bud. If Luigi waters it again, the bud grows and blooms into a gigantic flower. When he defeats [[Boolossus]], the flower becomes a seed pod. Luigi may then water it a final time to make it open, revealing the rare [[Gold Diamond]]. With it are 2 [[Gold Bar]]s, 20 [[Bill]]s, and 30 [[Coin]]s. If Luigi does not water the flower after defeating either boss, the plant withers and dies.

The Boneyard is an outdoor area of the mansion in the game of the same name. It is first accessed and cleared in Area Two. The area has a doghouse that Spooky sleeps inside of, and he chases Luigi around the location when approached. An irritated Mr. Bones rises out from the ground, and capturing it into the Poltergust 3000 is required before Luigi can do so to Spooky. After Luigi captures both of them, the Boneyard lights up, with sparkles appearing inside of the doghouse, which can selected by the Game Boy Horror to produce an air vacuum that sends Luigi to the Graveyard.[1] Three Temper Terrors can be optionally encountered in the Boneyard during the blackout.

The Boneyard has a sprout that can be watered to grow a bit,[2] then again after Bogmire to have it grow a lot,[3] and lastly after defeating Boolossus to have the plant produce a Gold Diamond, two Gold Bars, 20 Bills, and 30 Coins.[4] If Luigi does not water the flower after defeating either boss, the plant withers and dies.
