Variant of Stinga

Armored Stingas are a variant of Stinga covered in gray armor. They appear as enemies in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They attack just like unarmored Stingas, by flying toward Donkey Kong. These enemies cannot be attacked unless Donkey Kong performs a Sound Wave Attack, causing the Armored Stinga to lose its armor and become a normal Stinga. Donkey Kong can then defeat the Stinga by using the Sound Wave Attack another time. Donkey Kong earns a beat by defeating an Armored Stinga. These enemies appear in the Durian Kingdom levels, Primeval Ruins and Aerie Fortress.
