Template:PM badge infobox/new Damage Dodge P is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Japanese versions, it can be found in the Pirate's Grotto, behind a thin waterfall accessed by using Boat Mode. It can also be found in The Great Tree, inside a ? Block between the rooms with the Jabbi hives (though it can only be accessed by revealing a hidden block under it by using Koops), bought from the Lovely Howz of Badges after Chapter 5 for 150 coins, rarely dropped by Bob-ombs, Bulky Bob-ombs, and Red Chomps, or rarely held by Red Chomps. If it is equipped by Mario, it increases the amount of damage that his partner can block through their Guard by one. Its effects stack if multiple copies of it are equipped. A variant that works exclusively for Mario called Damage Dodge also exists.

Trivia

  • The Defend Plus P badge found in the Pirate's Grotto was originally a Damage Dodge P in the Japanese version.
    • Additionally, the Official Nintendo Player's Guide states on pages 61 and 108 that Damage Dodge P can be found in Pirate's Grotto, which is only true for the Japanese version of the game.
