I'd say that the identifier is mostly useless. The only other pages that actually use the name "Pinball" are the microgames based on this game. The rest are just alternative names. Shouldn't we move this to "''Pinball''" and moved "[[Pinball]]" to "Pinball (disambiguation)"? {{User:Starluxe/sig}} 14:32, October 12, 2024 (EDT)

Alleyway[edit]

If this game gets an article, what about the Game Boy game Alleyway? Mario steers the ship the player controls, and there are several Mario-themed puzzles. --Grandy02 14:55, 30 December 2009 (EST)

Regional differences in VS. Pinball[edit]

I'm not sure if anyone else has done the research on this topic so I'll post it here. There are two versions for the VS. System, one for Japan and another for the rest of the world. The Japanese version will have the copyright of "Nintendo Co., Ltd.", while the international version will simply say "Nintendo". The character that returns the extra ball is different. In the Japanese version it is Achilles from Family BASIC, but in the international version it is Bubbles from Clu Clu Land. Arcade Archives chose the Japanese version for their release. Here are some videos:

The Bonus Stage BGM is different in each version. Also, the international version has an exclusive sound effect for the slot windows when they are rotating (11:34 in the first video).

Remove identifier?[edit]

Question.svg This talk page or section has a conflict or question that needs to be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment.

I'd say that the identifier is mostly useless. The only other pages that actually use the name "Pinball" are the microgames based on this game. The rest are just alternative names. Shouldn't we move this to "Pinball" and moved "Pinball" to "Pinball (disambiguation)"? Full coverage[edit]

Why does this game have full coverage, exactly? Mario and Pauline only appear in one bonus room, which means they are both guest appearances. Because it was decreed so in a proposal. This one, to be specific: MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/58#Pinball (1984): full coverage or guest appearance? Salmancer (talk) 08:27, December 1, 2024 (EST)
