Musical Mushroom is a 4-Player minigame that is found in Mario Party. Its name is a reference to musical chairs.

Introduction[edit]

The minigame takes place in a forest where a group of six small blue mushrooms occupies around a single large orange mushroom. The four players are equally on the circular path, staring at the floating Treasure Chest. Forest background can be heard, and then the minigame starts.

Gameplay[edit]

The objective of the minigame is to be the first player to reach the Treasure Chest in 30 seconds. The minigame starts with the four players circling the group of blue mushrooms when the music plays. The music continues to play until it abruptly stops. Players then have an opportunity to reach the Treasure Chest in a variety of ways. Players can attack by jumping, punching, or hip-dropping.
