It is used to knock down opponents, and if a character tackles the opponent that has the [[Soccer Ball|ball]], it will go flying and land somewhere in the field. However, tackling a character who does not have the ball will cause the opponent's team to receive an item.  Any player can perform a [[deke]] to avoid a tackle.


In ''[[Super Mario Strikers]]'' this move was used by anyone to knock down the opponents. If a character tackles the opponent that has the soccerball, the soccerball will go flying and land somewhere in the field.

A Big Hit is a move in the Mario Strikers series. It is used to knock down opponents, and if a character tackles the opponent that has the ball, it will go flying and land somewhere in the field. However, tackling a character who does not have the ball will cause the opponent's team to receive an item. Any player can perform a deke to avoid a tackle.
