- —Dr. Toad, Dr. Mario World
The skill charger is a stage feature in Dr. Mario World. Represented by an energy drink, if it is eliminated such as by matching at least two capsules the same color as it, each item grants doctors 60 points filled in their skill meter. Many of the doctors' skills are lower than this amount so it would be fully charged for them, with some exceptions such as Dr. Dry Bowser (100 points at level 1, 76 SP at level 5).
The skill charger is related to the Skill Up, which grants a fully charged doctor ability on stage start and the skill filler, where it can fully charge doctor abilities if players choose to use it. Some assistants can turn viruses into skill chargers at the stage start, most notably Honey Queen (both stage and VS) and Wiggler (stage mode only).
