First appearance Dr. Mario World (2020)

An electric exploder is an object in Dr. Mario World. Introduced in World 20, they are bombs labelled with a lightning bolt icon. They only appear in stage mode.

When a color capsule matches the color of an electric exploder or that it is eliminated, three electric shocks will be sent out to nearby objects to be eliminated. Viruses and beneficial objects such as exploders, shells and other electric exploders (including Handy boxes) are prioritized, followed by other stage objects, with stray capsules being of the lowest priority. Even if the top priority objects are covered inside lower-priority objects such as Brick Blocks, they will still be targeted first.

In-game description[edit]

  • "Match an electric exploder with pieces of the same color and it'll send out electric shocks."
