Hammerman is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake. It can be bought from Charlieton for 180 coins (240 in the remake), and can rarely be dropped after winning against Wizzerds and Dark Bristles. If Mario equips it, all attacks relating to his hammer become stronger by one, but in exchange, he is completely unable to use any jumping attacks. This does not affect the damage caused by knocking back enemies into other enemies with the Super Hammer or Ultra Hammer. Other hammer moves obtained through badges are also boosted by Hammerman. If Mario equips both the Hammerman and Jumpman badges, he will not be able to use either his Jump or Hammer (unless he hits an enemy in the field with a First Strike). If Mario is able to have more than one Hammerman on him, one more damage will be added onto for each Hammerman equipped.
