Mega Monty Mole's in the Hole is a Boss Battle minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush. The boss fight is a resemblance to the classic game Whack-a-Mole.

Intro

Mega Monty Mole and two explosive duplicates pop out of a hole each with the explosives blowing up shortly after they pop up.

Gameplay

Each player is equipped with a hammer and has to smack the Mega Monty Mole when it pops out of any of the seven holes in the battlefield. Every smack awards two points, while Toad Scramble's allies' smack is worth one each. However, some explosive fakes of the Mega Monty Mole have a chance of popping up. If a player smacks it instead, they lose a point. After getting smacked a few times, the Mega Monty Mole retreats down the hole and reappears from another hole. As the battle progresses, more explosive Monty Moles pop out at once.

Ending

Mega Monty Mole ends up dazed, falls to the ground, then explodes. The explosion leaves behind a Star in Toad Scramble.

Controls

  • Circle Pad: Move
  • A Button: Whack

In-game text
