“If I don't figure out how to get into that briefcase, I'll be sacked for sure!”
Businessman, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Security code..., originally parsed Security Code..., is the twenty-fourth Trouble Center mission in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, initiated by the Ratooey businessman. It is first available after clearing Chapter 6.

Mission[edit]

Mario must travel to Glitzville, where he finds the businessman in front of the Hot Dog Stand. When talked to, the businessman tells Mario that he forgot the four-digit code to his briefcase, and the only way to remember it again is to count the number of chairs in Koops's house first (Kroop's house in the original game), Flurrie's house second, Don Pianta's office third, and Toodles' house fourth. After noting the number of chairs in each of those locations, Mario must travel back to Glitzville and relay the code to the businessman, 2625, which unlocks the briefcase. With the trouble solved, the grateful businessman rewards Mario with a Hot Sauce. Afterward, Mario can purchase more Hot Sauces from the businessman.
