Mechanical Zingers[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong 64. These purple-and-yellow striped robotic Zingers sport a propeller on their head, allowing them to stay airborne, and have a pair of small wheels for feet. Mechanical Zingers appear in Frantic Factory only and in one of Lanky Kong's Hideout Helm challenges, where three of them have to be taken out. Mechanical Zingers try to attack the Kongs by dropping unripened, green oranges out of a hatch on their undersides, similarly to Zingers, though unlike them, Mechanical Zingers do not attempt to dive-bomb at the player character.
