Papa Painguins seem to be a mixture between Pointy Tucks and Painguin Tucks, due to the fact that they use both dead fish as a spear and wear a spiky helmet. As a result, they use them as a defense from the front and the back. However, Papa Painguins can be stunned by a ground pound and then defeated by a Roll attack.

All sides of a Papa Painguin are protected from direct attacks, with its weapon having sharp appendages both in the front and rear, and its helmet sporting upward horns. If the Kongs try jumping, walking, or rolling into the enemy in this state, they lose a heart from their health meter. However, Papa Painguins can be temporarily stunned with a Ground Pound, causing them to drop their weapon, then defeated with a Roll Attack.

Papa Painguins are enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They are penguin-like members of the Snowmads which wear green trousers, a viking helmet, and carry a spear resembling a fish skeleton.
