Battle Course 2 is the second battle course of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It uses the same background of the same game's Bowser Castle 2, and the same tileset as the same game's Bowser Castle 3. The stage is predominantly square-shaped, with stone and mesh bridges, and several large lava trenches. Sometimes, it can be tricky trying to get into the middle of the course due to the number of jumps.
The stage has a different layout in the Japanese version of the game, with the jumps being toward the edges of the course instead of towards the center and the stage being smaller. It was changed in the international versions of the game, likely due to the original layout resembling the Nazi Hakenkreuz.[1] Despite this the track preview remains the same in all versions. It is the only Mario Kart course to have its layout changed between the Japanese and overseas version of the game.
