Grunts[1] are enemies in Wario Land II. These helmet-wearing apes walk around and throw spiked balls at Wario that hurts him and causes him to lose coins. Since Grunts are classified as heavy enemies, Wario's speed and jumping distance will decrease while holding one. Apart from that, Grunts can be defeated as other enemies in the game. Grunts act similarly to Pecans.
