Ghosts[1][2] appear in Wario Land II as enemies. They are encountered prominently in the Uncanny Mansion, but they also appear in Syrup Castle, in the stages Storm the castle!! and Defeat four ducks!, as well as in the cellar in the stage Defeat the giant spear man. A Ghost can turn Wario into Zombie Wario on contact, and they are invulnerable to all forms of attack. Ghosts travel in either a counterclockwise circle or a wave pattern.
