The Tea Bag is an item in the PC and SNES releases of Mario's Time Machine. It is given to Mario by a librarian in Mainz circa 1455, who freely gives him some tea that he grew in a garden outside the cathedral. Coincidentally, a nearby worker is interested in talking to Mario about Johann Gutenberg, but is unwilling to do so unless he has some tea. After Mario gives him the Tea Bag, he comments that he enjoys "cathedral" tea, thanks Mario, and begins talking about Gutenberg.
