In this Microgame, [[Wario]] appears to be in a maze filled with [[Coin]]s that he has to collect; it is similar in concept and design to the famous ''[[wikipedia:Pac-Man|Pac-Man]]'' games. Paths that are connected to one of the sides on the screen connect to the opposite path for the [[player]] to use to collect the Coins quickly. If the player collects all the remaining Coins in the maze before the [[Wario Bomb]] counts to zero, they clear that round of the microgame. The difficulty, speed and amount of Coins increases each time the microgame is played, and the locations of the coins in the maze change from round to round as well. To beat the microgame, the player will have to reach 20 points.

The Maze That Pays is a microgame that is found in the game WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.

Gameplay[edit]

In this microgame, Wario is in a maze filled with coins that he has to collect; it is similar in concept and design to the famous Pac-Man games. Paths that exceed the edge of the screen connect to the other side. If the player collects all the coins in the maze before time runs out, they win. Coins appear in groups of either two (on a vertical path) or four (on a horizontal path). The location of each group of coins varies.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is only one group of coins. The walls are green.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are two groups of coins. The walls are blue.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are three groups of coins. The walls are red.
