Variant of Theet
Relatives

A Dancer is a subcategory of Theets in Princess Peach: Showtime! who collectively specialize in figure skating group choreography performances.

They appear in two stages, A Snow Flower on Ice where there is a group of eight dancers, and A Parade on Ice where they appear in larger numbers. In both stages are they important gameplay elements. During timed line-up challenges ("Synchronized Skating") for Figure Skater Peach, each of the eight offer a Sparkle piece if Peach spins around a dancer while they have spotlight lit on them.

They are relatively easy to corrupt by the Sour Bunch figure skater into following him, and Peach must reclaim the dancers during the boss fights, after which Peach and the eight dancers circle around the Sour Bunch figure skater as a performance finale.

In contrast to most other transformation-specific Theet groups in the game, the dancers do not show signs of missing their dedicated Sparkla (Figure Skater Sparkla) nor do they show signs of having worked with her previously.

A Snow Flower on Ice

Gathering the dancers

Three dancers welcome Peach and Stella at the start of the level and say they will hold an ice show soon. Peach finds herself having to help them get to the arena by defeating a Sour Bunch regular skater and spin away a pile of snow.

Two other dancers meet them outside the entrance to the arena saying that various Sour Bunch regular skaters have hijacked the performance, and the five of them plus Peach decide to head to their dressing room that is uphill on a path away from the arena.

Three others are encountered on a rink outside the small rooms, trapped inside snowmen or piles of snow, with two of them audibly freezing, where Peach must free them (Defeating the two nearby Sour Bunch skaters is not required for her to do). With all eight now together, they all agree that Sparkle has given them better spins to the point where they offer Peach a Sparkla platform to become Figure Skater Peach.

The arena show

Re-entering the arena, the Sour Bunch flee as the dancers arrive. After Peach has performed three introductory exhibitions, four of the dancers enter the stage for the Synchronized Skating Exhibition that Peach must spin around to make them join her.

Having left the rink afterwards, all eight join the rink after the main part of the "Sparkling" exhibition, this time as a timed challenge with Sparkle pieces on offer.

After the challenge, the Sour Bunch figure skater arrives, corrupts the dancers with ease and heads off with them towards his own tent.

The chase

Figure Skater Peach and the Figure Skater Theet group finishing their performance after the boss fight of A Snow Flower on Ice in Princess Peach: Showtime!, immediately before the Sour Bunch figure skater disintegrates.
Defeating the boss

As Peach has chased them as they went into the tent, the corrupted dancers pose alongside the Sour Bunch figure skater. Peach competes against him in a boss fight and swirls him around, flinging the dancers rapidly and dizzily away from him in random directions, leaving Peach a small timeframe to uncorrupt the dancers by spinning around them, before the figure skater reclaims any still-corrupted dancers by skating at high speed.

With all eight dancers eventually cured, they spin around a sulking Sour Bunch figure skater in the middle of the rink to defeat him.

A Parade on Ice

Nine dancers partway through the parade

They are very close to starting an ice street parade when Peach arrives, at which point four dancers greet her while they and four dancers on top of the cart complain about nearby Sour Bunch regular skaters. After Peach defeats them, the parade starts.

The four that were on top of the cart remains there throughout the level, and eight dancers perform the stage's timed Sparkle piece challenge, six of which greet her at the end of the parade.

Eight entirely different dancers than those in the street have been corrupted by the Sour Bunch figure skater, whose dancers must be cured and the boss defeated in the same way as in A Snow Flower on Ice.
