At the start of the level, the Kongs fall into a sewer, where they encounter Baron K. Roolenstein. He starts by flying back and forth, launching a bolt of electricity when he reaches a side, though he is flying too high to hit the Kongs. A [[barrel]] appears, which can thrown at K. Rool to damage him. Every time he is hit, he bounces across the stage for a few seconds, hurting the Kongs if he runs into them. Once he stops bouncing, he flies to one side, then fires three bolts while gradually descending, forcing the Kongs to dodge them. He does this a second time from the other side, after which another barrel appears for the Kongs to hit him with. K. Rool will then lower himself to the ground and shoot three bolts before the next barrel spawns. After the third hit, K. Rool flies to each side and shoot two volleys of one bolt in the air, two at ground level, and one more in the air. One more barrel will defeat K. K Rool Duel[sic] is the final boss level of Donkey Kong Land III. It is located at the end of the fifth world, Tin Can Valley. Here, the Kongs face off against Baron K. Roolenstein.

Layout[edit]

At the start of the level, the Kongs fall into a sewer, where they encounter Baron K. Roolenstein. He starts by flying back and forth, launching a bolt of electricity when he reaches a side, though he is flying too high to hit the Kongs. A barrel appears, which can thrown at K. Rool to damage him. Every time he is hit, he bounces across the stage for a few seconds, hurting the Kongs if he runs into them. Once he stops bouncing, he flies to one side, then fires three bolts while gradually descending, forcing the Kongs to dodge them. He does this a second time from the other side, after which another barrel appears for the Kongs to hit him with. K.
