Rolling Frogs are large, bloated frog enemies with red spikes on their top and bottom sides appearing in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. While normally asleep, when Donkey Kong approaches them they wake up and roll towards him. However, while they are rolling, they open their mouths wide when they are facing forward, and can be stunned at this point by using the Sound Wave Attack. When stunned, Donkey Kong can grab their tongue and pull on until a certain point, at which he lets it go and sends the Rolling Frog rolling backwards into a wall, getting defeated and giving five beats. Their proportions may be based on the crucifix toad.
