This template is for articles that will be split into multiple different pages due to a proposal or informal discussion being held on the article in question's talk page. To use the template when entire article will be split, place <code><nowiki>{{split|PAGE-1|PAGE-2|PAGE-3}}</nowiki></code> on the top of the page, substituting the "PAGE-#"s with the proposed article titles, listing however many pages as necessary (potentially including the extant singular page). If only a specific section of the article will be split, place <code><nowiki>{{split|INCOMING|section=yes}}</nowiki></code> (or <code><nowiki>{{split|INCOMING|OTHER PAGE|section=yes}}</nowiki></code>) at the top of that section. An optional <code>discuss</code> parameter can be used to change the discussion link.

This template is for articles that will be split into multiple different pages due to a proposal or informal discussion being held on the article in question's talk page.

How to use

To use the template when entire article will be split, place {{split|PAGE-1|PAGE-2|PAGE-3}} on the top of the page, substituting the "PAGE-#"s with the proposed article titles, listing however many pages as necessary (potentially including the extant singular page). If only a specific section of the article will be split, place {{split|INCOMING|section=yes}} (or {{split|INCOMING|OTHER PAGE|section=yes}}) at the top of that section. An optional discuss parameter can be used to change the discussion link.
