About

This template is for suggesting a page be split into multiple different pages. Its usage must be accompanied by a talk page discussion (which should not be tagged with {{talk}}). This discussion should lead to either 1) action being taken if there is unanimous support, 2) the tag removed and settled by talk page proposal, or 3) the tag removed and the suggestion abandoned if there is major opposition.

Usage

• Basic format: {{split|Page 1|Page 2|Page 3|...}}
• Change the "discuss" link: {{split|Page 1|Page 2|discuss=Talk:Article#Topic}}

An optional proposal parameter can be used to link to a deciding proposal, an optional reason parameter can be used to add a reason, and an optional section parameter can be set if this only applies to a section.
